a freshly painted studio | Cheyenne Photographer

I’ve wanted to paint my ‘mom cave’/studio space since we moved in last July but it was never a priority.  I hate all the work involved with painting but the paneling was really getting to me!  So Saturday Jeremy took the kids to Snowy Range and I went and bought a nice neutral grey to paint my studio.  Jeremy’s parents are in town and were camping up at Sugar Loaf so I knew Jeremy would have extra hands with the kids even if they came back before I finished.  There hasn’t been an opportunity for me to paint kid free so I jumped on the chance and I love the outcome.  I have a whole gallon leftover that would be a waste to return so I may just have to find something else to paint… thinking of making my own chalkboard paint and doing a whole wall of grey chalkboard.  Check out the tutorial HERE!  Anyway.. here’s the before/after of my studio.. it just needs the floorboards installed:)
